This role is working for a producer of high quality chilled, prepared products. The business strives to produce new products at fantastic value, with huge emphasis on providing their customers with the best possible service.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the purpose of your role is to lead the Hygiene function within the business and responsibilities will include, the application of all safe working practices, driving the hygiene throughout all operational areas of the business and ensuring the safety of all products.
You will lead, develop and manage the hygiene team, manage the hygiene department budget, carry out site audits, ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times and be responsible for the safe use of chemicals.
We are seeking a highly organised and positive individual with a solid track record of working in a hygiene capacity within the food manufacturing industry. Experience working with high care products is essential e.g. poultry, meat, sandwiches or related. You will have strong man-management skills, lead by example with a can-do attitude and aspire to bring the company forwards. You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of plant cleaning processes and associated hygiene/food safety qualifications are beneficial.
The Interim Hygiene Manager job is based in Northern Ireland and is paying £300 per day including expenses. This is an interim contract position, to cover the recruitment period for a permanent candidate.
