A position has arisen for a Production Line Leader working for a highly successful, award-winning food manufacturer which produces an innovative product range. Situated near the fabulous beaches of the Cambrian coast, the business has ambitious expansion plans for the next 12 months and can therefore offer a great lifestyle and great job all in a stunning location.

The job

The Production Line Leader will encompass supervising all aspects of production operations within the assigned production area.

You will be responsible for supervising and instructing the manufacturing team including arranging staff on to work stations, ensuring staff rotate tasks regularly and that breaks are adequately covered. You will also ensure products are of the highest quality whilst maintaining, and continuously improving outputs and minimising waste in a clean and tidy factory environment, ensuring that everyone is working safely.

Your experience

We are seeking a highly organised and positive individual with some previous experience working in a production role, ideally FMCG but most preferably food manufacturing. Previous experience supervising a team would be desirable as would Food Hygiene and IOSH qualifications. Good levels of numeracy and literacy will be required together with a personality to inspire others to achieve continuous improvement.

The Production Line Leader job is based in the West Wales region and is paying £18,000 - £19,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm.
