THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT ROLE BUT MAY LEAD TO FULL TIME PERMANENT

The role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global food sector business who are market leaders in their field

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all the quality records are completed fully and in a timely manner.
  • To provide assistance to QC recordings in aspects of the site Hygiene & GMPs 
  • Assisting the Technical Manager in maintaining the Company’s Quality systems to meet the Safe & Legal standard & the evolution towards the full BRC Standards.
  • Support the Goods In Operation & ensure compliance with our GMP Procedures.
  • Work with the company’s Managers & Supervisors to continue to develop the Quality System records & procedures.
  • Carry out internal Microbiological tests on products
  • Carry out internal audits
  • Carry out environmental practices including swabbing
  • Carry out shelf life trials
  • Ensure finished goods are compliant with specifications 

The Candidate

  • Ideally have a food related third level qualification or relevant experience
  • A strong interest in the food industry
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and friendly approach to work

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 35 hours per week

Week 1                7am – 3pm

Week 2                8am – 4pm

Week 3                9am to 5pm

Week 4                11am to 7pm
