The Organisation
A leading multisite FMCG manufacturer with ambitious growth plans for 2019 and beyond.
The Role
The Demand Planning Manager will oversee the Demand Planning function which will cover the UK and Ireland.
Collaborate with the commercial teams to develop sales forecasts for all products
Examine and challenge launch forecasts for new products to ensure adequate ordering
Deliver an 18 month forecast for the UK and Ireland
Establish accurate demand and forecasting processes to align all areas of business
Present on demand changes and forecast accuracy
Liaise and work closely with sales teams UK/Ire
This opportunity is based in West Sussex with an element of flexible working (1 -2 days from home and 3 – 4 days office based)
The Candidate
Previous experience in Demand Planning within an FMCG is a must
A broad understanding and experience of forecasting, S&OP, statistics, planning and logistics
Knowledge/experience working cross functionally with sales and marketing teams
Experience with ERP (ideally SAP R/3, APO DP/SNP, BW)
Self-motivated
Strong communication skills
Analytic with attention to detail
