Always looking for new ways to improve processes and systems?

As a Continuous Improvement coordinator in this food manufacturing business you will play a key role in the deployment of business improvement activities across the site. Reporting to the CI Manager you will be responsible for day to day implementation of Continuous Improvement projects aimed at improving OEE, reducing wastage and labour, working towards World-Class manufacturing standards. You will help to implement and embed CI principles, building the teams on-going capabilities.

Your expertise in Lean Manufacturing projects will be called upon in selecting the right tools for each project and you will benefit from divisional best practice to guide and develop your own skills. Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver day to day Continuous Improvement projects
  • Train team members in foundation level CI tools
  • Monitor business performance, generating insight and action improvement plans


This role would suite someone who has already completed the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification and is comfortable in coaching team members on the Yellow Belt qualification. Experience in a fast-paced environment such as food manufacturing or consumer goods is preferred but other demonstrable experience in business improvement will be considered.

Experience needed:
  • Business Improvement qualification such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Implementing CI projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to deliver training and ongoing coaching
