The Company

This is an excellent chance to join an established and well respected food business supplying the major retailers with a wide range of innovative products; they are now seeking a passionate and driven New Product Development Technologist to contribute to the development of new and existing products.

The Role

Developing products within the fast moving chilled sector you’ll be responding to customer briefs to drive exciting new concepts that reflect upcoming trends within food. Liaising closely with suppliers you’ll search for the latest ingredient innovations that compliment your ideas whilst updating current ranges to give them a new lease of life. You’ll also work in collaboration with internal teams to develop and adapt recipes to improve taste, texture, quality and cost. In addition you’ll work with Process teams to help ensure a smooth transition from kitchen to factory, guaranteeing that all products are manufactured consistently and to the highest quality every time.

The Person

We are looking for an ambitious food science graduate who has gained valuable NPD experience within a food manufacturing environment. You’ll need to have a positive can-do attitude and will be happy in a kitchen preparing samples and working in a team. You must also have great communication skills coupled with the initiative to effectively prioritise and manage your own workload.
