Junior Buyer - Food

Buying is key to the success of this highly successful speciality food business and if you are a recent Graduate with a Purchasing or Supply Chain background there couldn't be a better starting point for a career as a Buyer.

The role will report into one of our client's category managers and will be part of a team looking after their non- European supply base. As such, it will involve significant long-term planning and commitments to raw materials so some experience of working within international buying would be very beneficial.

We are looking for raw talent, someone who is super enthusiastic, personable and looking for an opportunity to learn fast and develop within the team. You will be working as part of a team of three with a buyer in the team as well and supporting the work of some of our client's core categories and brands.

The Ideal Candidate:
·Previous food buying experience
·Part of full CIPS qualified
·Educated to degree level or above
·Fluency in a second language (Chinese / Italian / French / Spanish) would be an advantage
