Purpose of role

Ensure the currency of the Quality System and manage the associated Quality Schedules.

Results Area

  • Ensure The Quality System meets legislative, customer, CSM and certification standard requirements.
  • Keep the Quality Schedules updated and monitor schedule completion via agreed reports. These include:
    • Product
    • Process
    • Environment
    • Calibration
    • internal audit
    • risk assessment
      • PRP’s
      • Food Safety, Defence & Fraud
  • Produce internal and external quality reports as required
  • Support site teams in compliance with QMS
  • Manage site non-conformance and opportunity databases
  • Support site process for
    • RCA
    • Food Safety, Defence & Fraud teams
  • Proactively review non-conformance and opportunity data to highlight adverse trends so appropriate resource can be allocated
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and seek opportunities to integrate these into The QMS

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

HACCP Level 3

Food Hygiene / Safety Level 3

Attendance at industry Food Defence / Fraud courses

Experience of certification process for GFSI standards and/or ISO standards and retailer audit and close out.

2 years’ experience in similar role
