Continuous Improvement Manager needed for influential role within a major food manufacturing group.

This fast-paced chilled food manufacturing business needs your experience to provide leadership and direction in the transition to 'True Lean'. Working with a wide range of site teams such as HR, Finance, Engineering, Quality and Production you will use your lean toolbox to create a systematic and sustainable business improvement plan. As with any manufacturing site, improvements are sought in labour usage, wastage and efficiency however the scope of this role goes much further into the core of the business.

As Continuous Improvement Manager you will provide the site with clear direction as it transforms its ways of working and further develops a Continuous Improvement culture. To succeed you will need a solid understanding of both the principles and tools of lean manufacturing and the ability to engage teams at all levels. We are looking for a credible and confident individual able to challenge and support others as the business moves to world class manufacturing standards.

Being the subject matter expert, you will have the opportunity to implement the methods that you feel will best benefit the teams while continuing existing processes such as Jishuken and Genchi Genbutsu.

Experience sought:

• Deep understanding of lean manufacturing within FMCG or Food
• Credibility and the ability to educate and develop people
• A desire to continuously improve performance and gain new knowledge

This is a highly visible role within the business and will provide a platform to demonstrate your manufacturing and management credentials to the key decision makers in the group.
