Manufacturing Manager needed for a chilled food manufacturing business in London.

As one of the largest food groups in the UK this business offers you the chance to test yourself at the highest level with genuine career development opportunities. Supplying high quality, chilled food to the major retailers this is a fast-paced environment requiring collaboration with different departments on a daily basis. As Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring your team delivers the daily production plan in an efficient and safe manner.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and with a team of around 8-10 direct reports, you will focus on people management and development to ensure your team has all the tools needed to succeed.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver plan in line with product quality and safety standards
  • Identifying skills gaps and completing training plans
  • Manage labour costs against production plan
  • Be part of improvement project team
  • Work with support departments such as Technical, Engineering and Development to ensure maximum team performance


This role would suit an existing Manufacturing Manager or Production Manager looking for an opportunity to join a business that can offer long-term career progression. The ability to work at pace is key to this role and work within a structure that looks towards lean manufacturing principles.
