Are you an experienced Team Leader in a fast-paced environment? This food manufacturing role could be for you.

This role is in a food manufacturing site, producing chilled food products for major supermarkets. You will be responsible for managing a team of production operatives, making sure they work safely and efficiently to achieve production targets and standards.

Your areas of responsibility will include:
  • Manufacturing chilled food products
  • Resolving any issues quickly and efficiently in line with food industry standards
  • Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures are followed
  • Making sure your team work safely at all times
  • Training and development of staff
  • Working to KPI's

Ideally, you will have worked in a food manufacturing site, or have a background in food service, retail, or call-centre environments. Whilst food manufacturing experience is definitely an advantage, it is not essential for this role. However, you will need to be willing to learn new skills, and be a real people person - in summary you will be:
  • Experienced in a fast-paced environment
  • Understand how KPI's are used
  • Keen to mentor and develop people
