The Advocate Group are working exclusively with one of the most exciting healthy snacking businesses in the UK.  This is an opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing brand who already well-known within the FMCG arena.  My client is looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join their ever expanding team who is hungry and able to make a difference.

The ideal candidate will come from a snacking background however, other categories will be considered.  A strong background of selling into grocery and/or high-street channels is also essential as well as having a business development mentality.

As the National Account Manager you will be a brand advocate of this exciting healthy snack and have a real passion for food!

Primary Objectives:

  • Maintain a healthy margin
  • Develop existing and new business, manage product launches and promotional activities
  • Implement account management processes such as sales forecasting, price maintenance and contract management
  • Develop customer relationships and raise awareness of product portfolio
  • Implement company strategic objectives

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within a National Account Manager role
  • Experience working within grocery and / or high street retailers
  • A proven track record of generating revenue
  • Possess strong negotiation skills
  • Able to communicate at all levels 
  • Previous account management experience is also essential
