A position has arisen for a Site Engineer working for a family owned business which grows high quality, award winning produce which is supplied to the major UK multiples and food manufacturers.
As Site Engineer, the purpose of your role is to maintain the production machinery and carry out general maintenance and repair throughout the operation.
You will implement preventative maintenance measures and carry out regular servicing, troubleshoot and provide advice to machine operators, repair and update machines taking production requirements into consideration, train production staff on new and existing equipment as required plus ensure that all MHE is maintained in line with service requirements specified by the manufacturer and is repaired as required allowing for operational requirements.
To be considered for the Site Engineer role, you will have previous engineering experience within a manufacturing environment and preferably hold City & Guilds or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering. A background of working within food manufacturing is highly desirable and you will also preferably be experienced with flow wrappers and heat sealers.
The Site Engineer job is based in the South East region and is paying £25,000.
