Role: Assistant Operations Manager
Location: Basingstoke
Salary £32,000 - £35,000 + < 30% Bonus

Our client is a leading importer and distributor of tropical produce in the UK, and they are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an energetic and dynamic candidate for an Assistant Operations Manager.

Working with/reporting into the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for coordinating the distributing operations, H&S responsibilities, ensuring operational effectiveness and internal & external systems and procedures.

Key Skills:
*Minimum of 5 years FMCG management experience - ideally fresh produce.
*Ensure the distribution centre complies with all internal systems and procedures, along with all legal and customer requirements.
*Excellent Communication skills
*Computer literate - especially all Microsoft Office programs

Other Information
*Own transport is essential. As the primary key holder to the site this role will require the ability to attend site at very short notice in any required event.
