A leading food manufacturer for a popular production in the Food Service industry are seeking a strategic Operations Manager to head up the whole operation.
Key Accountabilities
The Operations Manager will be accountable for receipt of raw material and then the retail cutting and packing of a full range of food products. With a dedicated team reporting into you, you will be responsible for running operations as an integral element of an efficient, customer orientated and profitable organisation, where you’re brief will span budgetary management, production, team development and training, planning, health and safety through to despatch and logistics. Operational and continuous improvement is integral to the role as is delivering a first class quality service. This is a senior management role in a fast paced environment.
Personal Profile
· Strong leader, mentor and communicator at all levels
· Having Food industry experience is essential
· Good Continuous improvement experience
· Self-motivated and also a good team player
· Able to manage and report on P&L
· Result driven, eager to exceed customer satisfaction
