In this high profile role you will work as part of the Category and Insight Team with a focus on driving growth across a number of product sectors. You will work closely with customers and the NPD Team to lead range reviews, identify key insights and category drivers that will improve category and commercial performance. You will provide an understanding of emerging trends as well as consumer and shopper research to identify strategic opportunities for your customers. In addition, you’ll develop merchandising plans and solutions which not only respond to customer and consumer needs but also help drive sales.
Suit a confident and charismatic Category Manager who has proven experience within an FMCG environment. You’ll have the ability to analyse and interpret data with the understanding of how this can underpin category growth, support innovation and drive sales. Experience of working with the major retailers, knowledge of Nielsen, Kantar and retailer loyalty card data is essential.
We’re looking for a team player who can influence cross-functionally and develop strong relationships with customers. Agility, tenacity and the ability to think strategically in a fast paced, commercially led role are essential to success.
