Now looking to recruit a Technical Manager who will sit as part of the Senior Leadership Team and sit across all 4 areas within the Site. Working closely with Central, the Technical Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the Quality and New Product Introduction strategy in line with statutory, group, customer and best practice standards.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a commercial mindset that compliments their technical abilities, making pragmatic decisions when required. There will be a need to work closely with central functions, whilst ensuring that the production team on site are working to the standards and processes designed. There will also be a need to play a key role in managing all customer interaction.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, capable and ambitious Technical or Quality Manager who is already operating at, or is ready to make the move to a Senior Leadership role. In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- A degree in either a Scientific or Food Technology discipline
- Experience managing a Quality/Technical function within Food Manufacturing
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the natural ability to liase with staff across the site, central functions and external customers
- A hands on and pragmatic approach with the ability to make decisions
- A self motivated attitude with the ability to manage priorities and expectations.
