You may be interested in a new H&SE Manager that has become available for a high performing & well thought of food manufacturing facility in the Bristol area.

Standards generally are high and H&S is taken seriously so this isn't a big culture change role (although as always there are areas of improvement here).

This position is about ongoing improvements for a site that is profitable and invested in, giving you variety but also security. An example of this recent investment is significant upgrading of data capture systems allowing excellent standardisation. This will safeguard the future of the site from a performance perspective and of course, a more content work force makes your job easier.

You will report directly into the General Manager giving the position the visibility it needs to influence the work force and ensure change is possible.

You will need to work well with people, perhaps this is a given for someone whose vocation is the wellbeing of others so on top of this NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications in H&S and Environmental will be viewed positively. Additionally experience in the manufacturing sector within Food, drink or FMCG will be important.
