The job

As Interim QA Technologist, the purpose of your role is to ensure that the requirements for both company and customer are met plus maintain the standards for product safety, legality, traceability, quality, hygiene and housekeeping requirements.

You will carry out internal audits, collect microbiological samples, submit data onto Eurofins computer system, carry out regular temperature checks, carry out daily checks on metal detectors, carry out daily checks on the quality of cleaning, carry out on site allergen testing, ensure the control, quarantine and corrective action of any non-conforming products, monitor and investigate complaints

Your experience

Ideally educated to a degree level in a food science/technology discipline, we are looking for an efficient and confident individual with previous hands-on quality assurance/technical experience within a food manufacturing environment. You will also preferably have experience reviewing and recording microbiological test results. You will have high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be IT literate.

The Interim QA Technologist job is based in the Greater London region and is paying £18,000 - £23,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pm.
