We're one of the world's biggest dairy producers. Join us as an Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety Coordinator at our cheese packing facility in Oswestry, Shropshire and join a team that pack cheese loved by millions.

You will be responsible for day-to-day management of all quality system activities, including the laboratory, in order to ensure efficient running of the department. This is a great opportunity and will provide a fantastic challenge for the right candidate, who is looking to develop their career.
You will lead, coach, train, manage, develop and motivate the Quality Assurance and Laboratory teams. You will be a key player in ensuring that the highest standards are met in line with BRC,IFS and multiple retailer customer requirements. Managing systems across the factory and laboratory, including internal audits and HACCP, you will also be expected to make significant contributions to problem solving, continuous improvement initiatives, trend analysis and complaint improvements. Liasing with the central QEHS team, you will ensure that customer queries and issues are dealt with in a timely and satisfactory manner. You will also deputise for the QEHS Manager, running the department from day to day, in their absence.

You are
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a Quality and Laboratory role within a food manufacturing environment. A strong knowledge of Chemistry and Microbiology with an in-depth understanding of customer standards and audit requirements is desired. Experience of leading a team, problem solving and project management is essential along with the ability to think on your feet and make decisions. Level 3 HACCP would be required along with good IT skills, knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
