Technical Support Manager

Working alongside the current Technical Manager and a team of 6 quality assurance and technical personnel, you will help us to maintain the highest standards of food safety, legality, integrity and quality that our customers expect from us.

As part of a small team, responsibilities will be broad, covering as a minimum:

·         Managing quality systems in line with latest BRC Global Standards for Food

·         Development and implementation of HACCP and TACCP systems

·         Retailer-specific policies, codes of practice and audit requirements

·         Supplier approval and performance management

·         Maintaining raw material and finished product specifications

·         Customer audits and visits

·         Product development projects

·         Managing chain of custody and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) requirements

The role is primarily based on site at our bakeries, but is both factory-facing and customer-facing, and will therefore involve some travel within the UK and Ireland.
