The job
As Head of Equipment and Engineering, you will be responsible for developing a transformational equipment strategy for the business to provide a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Your role will provide strategic direction and thought leadership to the global portfolio, giving you the opportunity to inspire and define the future of the business’ strategy. You will manage the entire process of new equipment implementation including research, design, procurement and installation, all whilst inspiring and motivating key stakeholders to collaboratively drive the business forward.
You will also be responsible for managing the activities of the E&E team which is accountable for the full equipment and engineering supply base including vendor relationships, preventative maintenance, safety assurance, commercial efficiency (TCIU) and equipment innovation.
Your experience
We are looking for candidates who will bring rigorous thought leadership, excellent project management skills, a proven capability of delivering high complexity programs and cross functional working with an innate ability to make stuff happen and influence at senior level.
You will be an expert in equipment innovation, be versed in EPC project management (engineering procurement and construction) and be experienced in SMART goal setting (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant & timely).
Preferably educated within and engineering/project management capacity, you will possess a successful career track record within food manufacturing, FMCG, manufacturing, engineering or facilities.

The Head of Equipment & Engineering job is based in the Home Counties / South East region and is paying £90,000 - £120,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus car allowance.
