The Organisation
A leading multisite FMCG manufacturer with ambitious growth plans for 2019 and beyond.
The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Lead you will be responsible for managing the faultless movement of materials E2E through the supply chain. You will manage the co packers, logistics service providers, transport and work collaboratively with the customer base across the UK/IRE.
Keep the overview and manage the links between customer, sales, customer service, logistics execution and supply chain planning / inventory management
Manage the relationship with involved warehouses via regular operational reviews and solid service level agreements
Owner of subcontracting or 3rd party manufacturing processing
Lead 3RD Party tenders with logistic providers & co-packers
Customer relationship management with Supply Chain counterparts in order to balance customer needs with internal logistical possibilities and vice versa
Grow with the customer and work to get more customer insights which can be used for Demand Planning (customer collaboration)
Managing all Customer ordering has been processed including Returns
Track and check invoices provided for external service
Ensure that all causes to orders to cash process failures are identified and tracked
Owner of On time in full (OTIF) performance, working proactively to deliver sustainable root cause solutions, interfacing with relevant parties to agree corrective action plans
Optimize/Harmonize the Logistical Processes in order to offer commercial attractive proposals to the customer/logistic service providers and to realize optimal service delivery against lowest possible costs
Analyze end-to-end logistical processes and KPI’s in order to understand bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
The Candidate
Ideally degree educated
At least 4-5 years of relevant working experience in Customer Service /Supply Chain / Plan & Deliver
Proven Financial acumen
Previous experience in a Customer Operations or Customer Service & Logistics assignment within an FMCG would be ideal
Knowledge/experience working cross functionally
SAP – OTC experience
Self-motivated
Strong communication skills
Analytic with attention to detail
Competent in generating and maintaining BW and BI reports
