The purpose of the Hygiene Shift Manager is to ensure that all cleaning standards are met and continuously improved and that the communication between hygiene shifts and other departments is effective and efficient.
You will audit procedures and cleaning standards, act on audit points, ensure all relevant Health & Safety policies are understood and being complied with, effectively manage the hygiene staff plus train and develop them to their fullest potential.
To be considered for the Hygiene Shift Manager role, you will possess previous hygiene team leading/ supervisory experience plus be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the usage of chemicals and production cleaning techniques. You will come from a food manufacturing background with a good knowledge of food safety standards and also preferred qualifications include Intermediate or Advanced Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
The Hygiene Shift Manager job is based in the South Wales region and is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. This role is mainly day based, with the occasional night shift as required.
