The company

We are seeking a talented individual to join a high-quality manufacturer which supplies to retailers, caterers and directly to consumers. You will join a high energy, friendly and supportive team, working in a BRC ‘AA’ accredited, state of the art manufacturing facility.

The job

This is a brand new position which has been created due to the ongoing success and growth of the business.

As Trainee QA Technician, you will assist in maintaining a programme of quality assurance activity by ensuring that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, legal and meet or exceed customer expectations. You will support production in regard to understanding, implementing and maintaining good manufacturing practices in the factory in accordance with the company procedures and BRC standards.

Your experience

You will be a well organised and hands-on individual with some experience in a food manufacturing environment and is looking to progress their career within quality assurance. This role may suit either a food science graduate or someone who has been working in a food production role and wants to step into QA. Experience of conducting internal audits (GMP, glass) and knowledge of BRC requirements are both highly desirable.

The Trainee QA Technician job is based in the South East region and is paying £19,000 - £21,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pm plus every other Saturday during peak periods (summer).
