The job

This is an exciting time to join the team as the business is experiencing considerable success and growth and have been heavily investing into the staff, equipment and infrastructure of their sites.

The purpose of the role is to provide clients with authoritative services in the areas of regulatory affairs for the food and drinks industry, particularly international work.

You will maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current global food legislation, related issues and likely developments, answer questions internally and externally on the content, application and interpretation of legislation, develop and contribute to Regulatory Affairs publications and events, initiate new business and deliver contract services on time and within budget plus contribute to the development and delivery of research projects.

Your experience

To be considered for the Food Law Advisor role, you must be fluent in an additional language, preferably German, Spanish, French or Dutch. You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant science, law or related discipline and possess knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, enforcement or policy setting, however, we would also consider a Food Law graduate. You will be a confident communicator, have good report writing and presentation skills and a full UK valid driving licence is also required due to site location.

More details

The Food Law Advisor job is based in Surrey and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits including pension scheme, private medical insurance, subsidised restaurant and ongoing company supported training.

The working hours are Monday to Friday.
