Job Details
An excellent opportunity for an experienced food manufacturing procurement professional to join a leading multi-site business.
This is a great opportunity for a robust Senior Buyer or an experienced Procurement Manager join a hugely successful food manufacturing business. Joining the business as a key player in the senior management team you will have both site and group procurement responsibility across a range of ingredient and packaging categories.
Working closely with the senior management team you'll develop and manage supplier relationships, drive all aspects of commercial negotiations to ensure the best end to end deal for the business at both a site and Group level. Given the nature of the business NPD will form a critical part of the role and you will lead this from a procurement perspective to ensure the business is at the forefront of innovation and quality.
You will need to have strong food procurement experience gained within a manufacturing environment. Category buying experience across produce and packaging would be highly advantageous. Strong negotiation skills are essential as is the ability to manage senior level stakeholder demands in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Candidates will need to be experts in building strong commercial relationships both internally and externally.
