Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager

A leading berry grower is looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager to provide Health & Safety support to all aspects of the business as well as developing and managing a clear sustainability strategy. This soft fruit business has multiple sites across the UK but you will be working across their UK sites based in the south of the country.

The Job:

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have a variety of responsibilities ranging from maintaining and reviewing the company Health & Safety policies, developing a clear sustainability vision that is aligned to the companies' values and customer expectations and managing the development of efficient recycling on all sites.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you must have a clean UK Driving Licence, NEBOSH Diploma and an Energy Management Qualification. You must have sufficient experience working as a Health, Safety and Sustainability professional within a food or fresh produce business. It is also essential that you are a confident communicator who is good at building and maintaining strong relationships at different levels, as well as having a problem solving and analytical mind.
