A fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join a company that has a history spanning nearly 100 years’ has become available. You can become part of this growing, yet established business and become a key member of the company with great exposure to company’s owners.

 

Job Role

You will lead a warehouse team providing an efficient and unified approach to completing all operations at the company’s central warehouse hub. This will include Goods-In and Out, Logistics and Order Processing.

 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be need to have experience in the key areas below:

  • Review and monitor performance of warehouse departments
  • Manage all areas for staffing including recruitment, training, performance reviews and any dispute resolutions
  • Encourage and lead the warehouse team, showcasing your ability to be involved daily
  • Organise all stock checks both rolling and biannual
  • Ensure all existing Health & Safety policies and procedures are being met
  • Orchestrate regular equipment and vehicle checks
  • Enforce continuous improvements plans to warehouse processes
  • Create positive working relationships with all departments across the business at Head Office and retail stores

 

Personal Profile

  • Previous management experience in a warehouse environment is key
  • Enthusiasm for self-development and continuous improvement for the wider business
  • An enthusiastic attitude to building relationships and becoming a leader
  • Passionate about implementing solutions where needed
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A confident user of Microsoft Office and previous experience using a stock management software is advantageous
  • Full UK driving license

 

Salary

£32k - £35k per annum
