As a core member of the Engineering team, the Engineering Planner will be responsible for Engineering work planning & control across all assets on-site. This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects as the company continues to grow.
  • You will be involved in supporting the implementation and the on-going running of a new bar-coding CMMS system
  • Managing key relationships with suppliers through face to face meetings, calls and e-mail correspondence.
  • Pro-actively manage work orders, assets and inventory levels
  • Maintain all records in CMMS and ensure all users are updating, releasing and closing out maintenance orders correctly
  • Engage with production to ensure equipment is released for maintenance
  • Setting up and delivering engineering planning processes and reports


Ideal candidate:
  • HNC/HND qualified in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience of working with a CMMS
  • Knowledge of Asset Care techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
