Warehouse Section Leader

Purpose of the job

The Warehouse Section Leader will organise & manage the resources on an hourly/daily basis within the warehouse area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment whilst challenging and maximising profitability through continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilites

• Maximising efficiencies through agreed staffing levels
• Accountability for KPI’s on an hourly/daily basis – using and promoting CI techniques to deliver agreed KPI’s
• Managing the performance and behaviour of all team members in line with current procedures.
• Conducting return to work interviews, grievance hearings and disciplinary hearings
• Ensuring materials are available to meet the daily production plan
• Training, coaching and developing all staff as required in conjunction with Shift Managers
• Completing a formal, daily shift report and handover
• SAP background in warehousing essential
• FLT experience and licensees
• History in warehouse management or previous supervisory roles within a warehouse environment
• H&S background (not essential but preferable)
• Previous experience in leading or supervising a large team (Essential)
