H+S is a difficult sector. Although it is essential within manufacturing all too many would love to brush this under the carpet to get the job done or would like to do it their way… Their way has led to them still being here to tell the tale after all.

With an incredibly vigilant approach to health and safety and you will need to have the capacity to make difficult and complex decisions.

You will take a consultative approach and ensure you maintain the learning culture on site. It is important for them that the professional who joins their team values the importance of everyone on site understanding why and you will take a mentoring approach to the team.

You will work closely with the HSE Manager and will work within a small team of officers on site. It is desirable you will be autonomous in your role and already an expert in what you do as in your managers absence you will have the opportunity to step up.

A NEBOSH is essential as well as experience within a FMCG manufacturer.
