We are currently looking to recruit a Demand Planner on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our Demand Planning team based at our head office in Leeds. In this role you will report to the Head of Demand Planning. As Demand Planner you will be responsible for creating the customer demand plan within Arla. Working in partnership with the sales teams & key customer contacts you will help to provide accurate collaborative forecasts, driving key business processes.

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Providing a rolling weekly & daily demand forecast by SKU, customer & dispatch site, developing accurate plans
• Using SAP APO to provide a robust base forecast & FuturMaster APM to ensure accuracy and approve our promotional forecast
• Monitoring & analysing results/KPIs, taking corrective action & ensuring improvement
• Developing collaborative relationships with our internal & external customers in order to liaise with & agree forecasts and share insights
• NPD/Promos/Events - ensuring alignment between Arla & our customers & all internal set up to ensure successful go live.
• With the support of Customer order management, monitoring customer orders to quickly respond to changes in demand, adjusting forecasts & escalating where necessary
• Challenging & developing systems & ways of working, ensuring successful implementation of any changes made

Skills

The successful candidate will have a good level of understanding of demand management & CPFR processes. As an effective communicator you will be able to build strong and effective relationships with a number of internal and external stakeholders from a range of different departments including Sales, Planning and Logistics. You will be able to make sound judgements under pressure and will be able to act decisively, making considered decisions using all available data.
