We currently are looking for a Hygiene Manager who has experience in working with chilled and high risk products that is looking to work in a leading food manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the company's Hygiene function - we are looking for someone who is dedicated to their job role and pays close attention to detail.

Along with this the role of a Hygiene manager will require the candidate to be active and driven to achieving the highest standard. They will also need experience of following customer codes of practice and making sure they are all compliant with all hygiene standards. We need someone who will always be thinking of business improvements ensuring that food safety and quality remain at the forefront of the company.

Job accountabilities:
- Managing and developing scheduled deep and standard cleaning of machinery/ environment programme to required standards.
- Working towards KPI's and targets, ensuring all clean downs are done to the highest standard.
- Carrying out regular audits in relation to hygiene systems and environmental standards.
- Liaising with production management to minimise risk to product through effective hygiene management and process control.
- Improving efficiency and standards of cleaning.
- Driving forward departmental policies and procedures.
- Managing departmental budget.
- Ownership and development of hygiene systems.

The ideal candidate will be working in a similar position within food production. A strong manager with excellent communication skills is vital.
