We are looking to recruit a Hr Assistant to provide a comprehensive transactional and advisory support service, contributing to the provision of excellent people services for Greencore Group colleagues and line managers

Main responsibilities
  • Deliver a tier-1 solution on people related policies and practises to provide HR Teams, colleagues & line managers with necessary information as appropriate 
  • Provide transactional and advisory support in preparing all relevant colleague documentation to ensure that all paperwork and systems are completed and issued correctly 
  • Administer the HR information system and associated systems to ensures the accuracy of information
  • Administrate absence management through HR information system to minimise absence rates and promote positive employee relations
  • Collate and provide relevant KPI information in a timely manner, showing trends, and generating it in a format that is readily available for managers to review e.g. sickness absence data to inform functional and business decision makers
  • Provide support to the HR Team in talent acquisition, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes to promote efficient service delivery 
  • Provide administrative support (posting jobs, processing candidate applications, preparing candidate packs and letters) to ensure that candidates have a positive, common experience and that vacancies are filled in a timely manner 
  • Ensure new starter information is captured and uploaded to the appropriate HR systems
Ideal candidate
  • A level or equivalent 
  • Previous experience in using computer systems such as Word, Excel, Email, Power point, Databases 
  • Proven administrative ability to include prioritising work load 
  • Ability to make fair and accurate decisions in line with policies and procedures
  • Previous HR Assistant/ HR Admin experience desirable
