Exciting Value Optimisation Manager opportunity with a major food retailer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a premier London based food retail business with an enviable reputation in the market.

The Value Optimisation Manager - 12 months fixed-term contract role is an exciting opportunity to support the business with a high profile and high priority programme. The aim being to reduce the costs of the business/improve processes to facilitate further reinvestments.

Pace of delivery is key for this role. Your manufacturing/production experience combined with Continuous Improvement and Lean management experience will provide the perfect platform to deliver the food category cost savings, process and efficiency improvements required. The ability to engage and build relationships both internally and externally with director level and factory teams is essential to success. Food manufacturing P&L management experience is essential.

Responsibilities will include -
  • Delivering the cost saving programme target
  • Managing initiatives with internal stakeholders to reduce cost
  • Facilitating collaborative working between internal teams
  • Being the voice and champion a CI mindset within the business and the supply base
