As Dispatch Supervisor, you will manage a team of staff and maintain work activities to meet dispatch times and ensure timely delivery of finished products to retail customers. You will drive productivity and ensure minimal time wasting in the team through effective organisation of people, materials, labels, and product plus effectively monitor and communicate to the team their performance.
You will be fully responsible for ensuring that Dispatch Operatives are picking orders correctly, dispatching product correctly and on time, adhering to all electronic data capture system and quality control procedures, filing all paperwork and recording temperature checks.
To be considered for the Dispatch Supervisor role, you will have solid practical experience working in a transport & logistics department within an FMCG warehouse. Experience of working in the food industry, supplying to retail multiples and managing dispatch teams would be a distinct advantage. You will possess excellent communication skills and any additional languages would be beneficial.
The Dispatch Supervisor job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £25,500. The working hours are Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday (5 on, 2 off), 7am – 5pm/close.
