This role Is working for a multi-sited manufacturer of high quality and delicious products supplied predominantly to the foodservice sector. Through careful market research and monitoring of trends, the company continually develop exciting new products for their customers.
As Compliance Technologist, you will audit the food production site against food quality and safety standards for compliance plus provide guidance and support to teams on site with adherence to relevant standards, policies, legalisation and regulations.
You will be a proactive and constructive member of the technical team, contribute to the generation of new ideas for continuous improvement, take ownership of the internal audit programme, lead technical and root cause investigations when incidents or trends appear, assist with the generation and implementation of QMS, be an active team member during traceability audits, challenge hygiene practices plus promote a quality culture via teamwork & coaching other departments onsite.
To be considered for the Compliance Technologist job, you will be educated to a degree level in a food science related discipline plus possess solid experience working in a compliance/technical role within food manufacturing. You will preferably be a holder of HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 2 and be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of internal auditing and BRC standards. You will also be an excellent communicator and be IT literate.
The Compliance Technologist job is based in the South West region and is paying £24,000 - £26,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus benefits including pension scheme, childcare vouchers and life assurance.
