Packhouse administrator - Kent - £30,000

We are looking for an experienced fresh produce professional to join a tight knit packing company. Being a family run business, this packing company has a strong sense of community in which all staff
support each other as required.

The job:

This is a varied job that would include both office work and time spent in the packhouse as required. Roles would include covering HR duties (such as payroll, staff inductions and drawing up contracts), working alongside the Packhouse Supervisor in order to carry out daily packhouse checks and the preparation of paperwork in relation to BRC audits.
There would also be general administration duties such as ordering packaging, the input of data into information systems and postal duties.

The candidate:

We are looking for someone that has experience of working in a FMCG environment, ideally within the fresh produce industry.
You must be able to deal with the pressure of working in a fast paced environment.
You will have experience of working in a packhouse.
You will be a skilled administrator.
Flexibility on working hours is also required due to the seasonal nature of the fresh produce industry.

The package:

Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm, some weekend work during busy periods
£30,000 basic salary, 20 days holidays + bank holidays
