Head of Technical

We will start with the business. They supply complex and very tasty products to a number of retailers. They're profitable and looking to further improve how they operate. The senior management team is very good. There's a real passion for what they do so it's important you have a similar view to your work. Despite being at the top in their category there is still room to grow and offer something new to the customer. They're aware of this and keen to find people who will challenge the business and look for ways to bring something new and exciting to the market.



As Head of Technical the role will be heavily focussed on a few key areas - Customers, Strategy and Standards. There is a solid technical team in place so a lot of your time will be spent focussing on the bigger picture.



In my mind this role would be fantastic for someone operating at site Technical Manager level or even someone coming from a group position that wants more stability and ownership each day.



Before applying, there are a few key things we need. At least 4 years operating at Site Technical Manager level, preferable with a strong strategic background. We also need someone with experience with Waitrose, M&S or Tesco. Finally - you need to be confident and believe in your own ability. This is a key role for the business and requires someone with drive who will take them forward.
