Client Details

My client is a blue chip food manufacturing business based in the Chester area who are looking for a HSE Manager

Description

Work with the Leadership team to develop and implement site wide initiatives to embed behavioural safety and best practice approaches.


Maintain the site's OHSAS18001 H&S certificate


Maintain the site's ISO14001:2015 environmental management system and certificate

Liaise with production teams, Green Matters Champions and safety representatives to encourage safety & environmental culture across the site - Champion sponsorship, TOP's

Manage the TOP's process - conduct and record visits and actions, completion of reviews and site / central reporting


Manage and update the site duty manager matrix, ensure personal and individuals responsibilities are understood


Lead and coordinate site processes, ALARP, PUWER, RA's, MS's and COSHH, ensuring compliance and providing advice, training and support

Profile

At least 2 years experience of working in a FMCG environment responsible for Health, Safety & Environment
NEBOSH Diploma or National General Certificate
IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent qualification or experience of maintaining ISO14001 environmental management systems
Knowledge of SHE legislation
Computer literate (good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Hazard identification and risk assessment
