The Organisation
A leading FMCG business seeking to expand their procurement team
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Category you will be responsible for managing the FM category covering hard and soft FM services.
End-to-end procurement management
Continuously improving and defining category strategy
Negotiate on new and existing contracts, to drive down costs to the company
Implement SLA's into contracts to ensure service delivery is at optimum level - required to have a full strategic approach
Influence key stakeholders in the business to define new and effective procurement strategies
Bring previous expertise of improving processes of any current policies
Identify new potential suppliers and cost saving opportunities by using market knowledge
The Candidate
Direct procurement, sourcing, buying exposure gained within a retail or FMCG environment, ideally in the FM or Indirect category.
Highly commercial and results driven
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Degree / MCIPS qualification desirable, though not essential
