The job

Your job, as Senior Operations Filling Manager, is to lead the operations function in the filling plants to ensure both short and long term operational performance is met.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will operate as part of the Senior Management team and will be responsible for delivering budget commitments and other strategic goals.

You will lead a value led continuous improvement culture, develop and coach to ensure capability optimisation, ensure performance through accountability and clear responsibility structure, ensure delivery of training programmes, cost management, production plan attainment, quality compliance and health and safety standards, monitor performance and take decisive action to reduce losses plus champion H&S standards ensuring that this forms the basis of the working culture.

Your experience

To be considered for the Senior Operations Filling Manager role, you will possess a strong production / operational management track record within a large, automated, world class food manufacturing business, most ideally branded products. You will also be an experienced and motivational manager, with a people-centric approach and the ability to coach and develop teams in line with the wider business plans to bring the site to the next level and deliver a vision of operational excellence.
