The Position

Newly Weds® Foods Ltd are rapidly expanding and are looking for a multi-skilled, experienced, self-motivated, reliable, conscientious and proactive Development Technologist to join our team at our site in Banbury on a fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for innovative development of retail coatings for both branded and customer own label products. You will work with customers, conduct factory trials of new products, develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers and take responsibility for your own administration.  

You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a food related discipline, have experience of concept development in a food manufacturing environment and be willing to undertake frequent travel within the UK and occasional travel overseas. Terms and conditions, include:

Salary - between £22,000 and £27,000 a year depending on skills and experience

Location – Newly Weds Foods Banbury, however, there will be frequent travel to our customers sites, and other locations throughout the UK and from time to time, overseas travel will be required

Working hours – 35 hours a week, Monday-Friday

Benefits - a pension with 3% contributions, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, 2 x salary death in service benefit, health care cash plan, as well as many others.
