Job Title:    Production Team Leader 
Reports To: Shift Manager

To effectively lead, develop and manage your team to ensure the delivery of key results and achieve set targets in line with overall Company objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
•To manage the ongoing job performance of the members of the team who fall under the direct management control of the job holder.
•To ensure that business critical training and development is organised and delivered in line with business objectives.
•Prioritise and execute plans in line with the operations and business unit objectives to ensure that all targets are met (e.g. deadlines, quality, customer spec, legislation etc). Challenge, investigate and correct non-conformances e.g. quality, stock rotation, waste management etc.
•Lead, motivate and develop the team in line with company values and policies to maximise employee engagement and efficiency e.g. Induction, Coaching, Performance Management, Absence Management, Performance Appraisal etc 
•Communicate, monitor and review team members’ individual and group targets/objectives and performance on an ongoing basis in order to ensure that production targets are achieved. Provide ongoing feedback to team members, promptly identify performance/training issues and agree and monitor development plans to ensure they have the necessary skills to carry out all required duties and for succession planning purposes. Review team members' individual performance via formal Appraisals bi-annually (minimum).

•Manage resources in order to maximise the operational effectiveness of the team through the efficient utilisation of people, materials and equipment.
•Achieve both internal and external quality standards through the management of processes and people, in accordance with both the company’s and our customer’s expectations. 
•Manage and assess the work area in order to ensure that Health, Safety, Welfare and Environmental responsibilities are not compromised.
•Manage the team in order to ensure that the department is compliant with company hygiene standards.

•People Management – Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and there use in leading and managing individuals and/or teams. 
•Planning and Organising – A proven track record of highly effective planning and organising and the ability to cope with a demanding and pressured work environment.

Preferred
•Technical Knowledge - To have worked in the Food Manufacturing Industry and have a good knowledge of Food Manufacturing & Hygiene rules and procedures
•Coaching - Experience of effectively utilising coaching skills to develop others

Week 1 
Sunday 7 am to 6 pm
Monday Off
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday – 7.10am to 2.00pm
Friday 7 am to 6 pm
Saturday Off

Week 2
Sunday off
Monday 7 pm to 6 am
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday – 2.05pm to 10 pm
Friday – Off
Saturday – 7.00am to 6.00pm
