Interim HSE Director
Interim HSE Director is needed to bring a new attitude towards health , safety and environment to a fast growing and complex business.
The client is a fast growing business with a head office in Wiltshire but with sites across the UK and into Europe. The client appreciates that it needs to change its approach towards HSE and therefore have decided that they need a strong influential leader who can win the hearts and minds of their staff across all 5 sites.
The main objectives of the Interim Health and Safety Director will be to asses the state of the current Health and Safety standards of the company. They will then be required to lead a change programme with the assistance of their team. You will be required to engage and guide staff to take on a ' do the right thing ' approach. You will need to provide guidance around safe use of chemicals whilst maintaining a pragmatic approach to the continued success and growth of the business.
The successful Interim HSE Director will need to have a proven track record of changing culture with manufacturing environments. Ideally you will have experience working in an environment using hazardous materials, such as pharmaceutical , oil and gas or chemical manufacturing. Ideally you will hold a degree within Health safety and environmental or a NEBOSH diploma and chartered.
