This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager or Sales Executive who is interested in joining a smaller, non-corporate business at an exciting time of tremendous growth and advance their career to the next level.
The business is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, passionate Sales Manager to develop their B2B customer base.
You will develop new customer relationships, seek out business opportunities for the company, meet company sales & profit forecasts with all new and existing customers and develop product ideas with customers that are commercially viable. This role requires regular, nationwide travel (75%) to meet with customers.
To be considered for the Sales Manager job, you will possess a minimum of 3 years food industry sales experience, most preferably within the confectionary or impulse categories. Effective sales, negotiation and customer relationship skills are essential, plus you will be a pro-active self-starter and IT literate including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (SAGE is also beneficial). A full UK valid driving licence is required.
The Sales Manager role is a field-based role where 75% of your time will be on the road, the company office is based in the East Midlands region.
The role is paying £27,000 - £35,000, according to individual skills and previous experience plus bonus, company car, mobile phone and expenses.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
