The business partner with leading processors from around the globe to source the best quality food and specialist ingredients. Their focus is on providing a first-class wholesale foods supply and distribution service to the foodservice and trade sectors here in the U.K.

The job

The purpose of the Technical Coordinator is to produce, coordinate and collate supplier product specifications including full detailed specifications, production information sheets and quality attribute sheets for all products.

You will maintain and complete customer specific product specifications using online platforms, maintain supplier profiles for all approved suppliers, liaise regularly internally and with customers to access all required information and also assist the Technical Manager with technical issues, such as customer complaint handling, audits etc.

Your experience

You will be a highly organised and motivated individual who has previous food industry technical experience with knowledge of quality management systems (notably BRC) and HACCP. You will have good IT skills including MS Office, strong attention to detail plus possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The Technical Coordinator job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £20,000 - £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
