About the Job:

The key responsibility of this role is to utilise your food technical and legal knowledge to manage the effective development and delivery of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene. You will support Operations Managers and shops to achieve the required standards through a variety of activities including support visits, audits, coaching, reviews and training.
You will work proactively to identify and escalate risks. You will ensure that our client meets safety and compliance requirements through the development of sufficient policies, procedures and processes.

The role will be based in central London, travel throughout the UK will be required and occasional overseas travel - you will be provided with the necessary IT.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will need to be familiar with enforcement liaison and regulatory issues. You will have excellent judgement and identifying potential risks and opportunities will come as second nature. As a Safety Manager you will need to be able to effectively manage your workload whilst reacting to business needs and delivering planned activities. You will have superb communication skills, both written and verbal, you need to be a motivated self-starter and enjoy working as part of a successful team. Experience of working internationally in a similar role would also be beneficial.

Minimum Requirements:

You will be expected to hold a higher certificate in Food Premises Inspection, have a recognised HACCP qualification and be a member of a recognised Professional Body.
