If so this role is for you. My client is a leader in the food manufacturing industry that produces a range of high quality premium products to the all the major retailers and food service sector. Due to a recent expansion of the factory, they are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the engineering department.
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer your main responsibilities will include attending to breakdowns and planned maintenance. In addition to the install, overhaul and commissioning new production lines.
A successful candidate will have experience within a food manufacturing and hold an engineering qualification in electrical such as HNC, City and Guild's, or a time served apprenticeship with at least 2 years' experience.
PLC experience would be high regarded. Exposure to a planned maintenance system and a good understanding of how to execute tasks properly is needed. There is currently a big focus of increasing the OEE and TPM so experience of carrying out these imitative would be beneficial.
